Long but scenic drive west through tea plantations and the Rwenzori foothills. Afternoon game drive.

Morning game drive on the Kasenyi plains, afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise. Optional add-on chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge.

Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha
Travel south through the Ishasha sector — famous for tree-climbing lions — and into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Mountain Gorilla Trek
Pre-dawn briefing, then into the forest with rangers. One extraordinary hour with a habituated family. Afternoon to rest.

Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
Drive through terraced hills to the serene Lake Bunyonyi. Afternoon free for canoeing or relaxing.
